Today 25th May 2009 night 8.30 PM sitting on my PC trying to write some thing for my first blog.
First of all I pray to my spritual Guru who blesses me with his eternal power,then pray to Almighty God .
I feel every body feels the presence of some Power which enpower us to do our activities.The name of that Power my be any thing eg RAM, Krishna ,Shiva,Allaha,Christ etc. That Super Power ,although present every-where but not felt by us ordinarily. To feel that Super Power we need help of a real Guru.He shows us the path and way to feel him. And it is the blessings of that God we get the chance to meet a real Guru.
Being a surgeon I some time realise that how God is helping someone by helping him in getting proper treatment at proper time and at proper place. Same operation in two patients for same disease may not result in similar outcome. Same medicine in same doses in different patientsmay not give similar final result.
Today I will tell about one incidence.A very poor girl of about 12 years having only her poor mother to support was operated by me for intestinal perforation ina very low condition. Postoperative period was also very painful as she developed burst abdomen with faeces coming through all wounds.She used to cry all the day. Inspite of our possible efforts her condition was not improving.Being Doctor we had no choice to do our job. Some times wI used to pray for her during my daily prayer time.There was no hope. I was giving her anti-tubercular treatment too imperically. Slowly wounds started healing condition started becoming better.I had to discharge that patient on her mothers request because of her fearof loosing her job which she was not doing for months together bacause her daughters hospital stay.
She continued her treatment as some social organization started helping her in getting treatment.To my utter surprise after about 3 months all the wounds healed, faecal matter which was coming through her wounds stopped.
She came to me after about 2 years with her friends in beautiful cloths ,laughing and enjoing youthful life . I my self could not recognise her in first instance. She told me that she was the same girl which I treated about 2 years back. She was totally alright.
I then realised that God has showered his blessings on that girl through my hands. It gave me a feeling that I am nothing.He is almighty.
We can only work result is not inour hands. We have to work with best of our capability with a positive attitude and keeping humanitarian feeling on top.
